The PA for this role must have excellent communication and people skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the lead physician. Key areas of focus are outpatient follow-ups, pre-procedure workups, reviewing results with patients and management of medications.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing medical histories to understand patients' present health concerns

Large Medical Practice in Gainesville, GA Seeking Experienced Medical Credentialing and Benefits Coordinator - Available Immediately

The person in this role will be responsible for enrolling medical Providers with hospitals and ASC and working with our outsourced billing group to enroll our employees with third party payor.

The position is also responsible for on-boarding our physicians and clinical staff and tracking benefits, PTO, and allotments for travel, dues and education. The person in this role must show attention to detail and have a high level of accuracy and follow-up.

Please note, this role is on-site, not remote or hybrid.

Ideal for someone who enjoys working in healthcare and has had prior experience with medical credentialing at both facilities and with payors. The person in this role must be well organized, have proficiency with Excel and have outstanding written and verbal communication skills. This individual will also participate in the on-boarding of new providers and must be able to interact in a positive way with Hospital staff, the billing company and our care providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining credentialing database including enrollments with all hospitals, ASCs and Third-Party payors
  • Assisting with benefits administration and onboarding of new staff
  • Working closely with the Practice's outside billing company and providing the information needed for facility and third-party applications.
  • Working closely with outside vendors including health insurance, malpractice, retirement and Payroll company.
  • Proactively following up with the CAQH database, expiration dates, hospital and third-party requirements to ensure enrollments do not lapse.
  • Onboarding of new physicians and staff and enrollment in benefits.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of working in a medical practice or billing department in a credentialing role; prior experience within a healthcare setting required.
  • Prefer Associates or undergraduate degree in Healthcare, Accounting, Medical Billing, Management or a related field.
  • Experience using an outside payroll service
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel sills.
  • Experience with QuickBooks and payroll packages a plus

Seeking Practice Administrator to Oversee and Develop Multiple Urgent Care Centers in Gwinnett, GA

We are seeking an experienced Practice Administrator to oversee the daily operations of ten (10) multiple fast-paced urgent care centers in Gwinnett County, GA. The Practice Administrator will play a critical role in ensuring our centers run efficiently, deliver exceptional patient care, and meet operational and financial goals. You'll lead multidisciplinary teams, optimize workflows, and drive performance across multiple locations.

The urgent care centers are open seven (7) days a week from 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The Practice Administrator is expected to be on-site at one (1) of the Centers (Candidate can choose their permanent location but will be expected to travel to other locations as needed in order to handle problems, staffing and emergencies. Our primary directive is to provide the community with services even during pandemics and inclement weather. Each Center has a dedicated Manager to handle day to day staffing and operations. Requires 5+ years of hands-on experience in medical practice management with familiarity with operations, credentialing, front desk and billing.

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Oversight day-to-day operations and clinical workflow of ten (10) to twelve (12) urgent care centers
  • Management of staff scheduling, training, and performance
  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
  • Monitoring budgets, billing processes, and Centers' financial performance
  • Achieving a high level of patient satisfaction and clinical efficiency
  • Collaboration with clinical leadership to enhance care delivery
  • Assistance with credentialing and licensing renewals with the center providers and third-party payers

Qualifications:

Experienced Practice Administrator for Growing Medical Practice in Gwinnett, GA

Seeking a hands-on Practice Administrator to oversee day-to-day operations of our specialty practice. This position interacts with the providers and staff as well as patients, referring physicians, accountants, vendors and I.T. support. Requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in medical practice operations, HR and personnel management, credentialing, billing and revenue cycle management.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Oversight of day-to-day operations of multiple offices including managing administrative, billing and clinical staff in conjunction with the providers
  • Directing the front desk, credentialing insurance verification, authorizations, time-of-service collections, coding and charge review, claims submission through clearinghouse, electronic payment posting and support for A/R follow-up and reporting areas
  • Credentialing and licensing renewals with hospitals and third-party payers
  • Leadership of personnel functions and developing employees and other H/R related functions
  • Oversight of payroll, accounts payable and financial reporting areas and interface with Practice accountant
  • Support in development of new services and locations
  • Representation of the Practice to practice and referring physicians, vendors and business partners

Qualifications Required:

  • 5+ years of management experience in a medical practice or health system setting
  • Experience with accounting
  • Surgery Center or infusion medical billing a Plus
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to direct projects, manage multiple priorities and implement new services
  • Requires experience and strengths with both QuickBooks, and Excel billing and clearinghouses. Experience with computer conversions a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
